A series of resource consent applications for discharges of treated domestic wastewater to streams and rivers from the towns of Carterton, Greytown, Martinborough and Featherston in the Wairarapa are currently being assessed or heard by Greater Wellington Regional Council. Greater Wellington Regional Council has appointed Dr Olivier Ausseil as its water quality expert to review the applications and present expert evidence.
